HP ElitePad 900 vs Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx vs Asus VivoTab Smart:Who is the best?

HP ElitePad 900                                                                                                                                       ElitePad 900 offers similar functionality to the Surface Pro in a much smaller and more stylish shell and - probably - at a cheaper price. The ElitePad 900’s display measures 10 inches diagonally and fits a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is better suited for productivity than the 16:9 “widescreen” format most Windows tablets and laptops use. HP has wisely placed the volume and power buttons along a single corner so they’re easy to access in both landscape and portrait orientation.Intel Atom Z2760 chip clocked at 1.5GHz-1.8GHz combined with 2GB RAM. Often tablets that run full-blown Windows sacrifce performance and battery life in order to offer full PC capabilities.
HP ElitePad 900 Windows tablet for a spin to see how it stacks up in a world of thin-and-light, high performance tablets. The HP ElitePad 900 is a well-built business tablet with an impressive array of add-ons and accessories.
But, The base tablet starts out expensive, and those docks and jacket accessories add even more to the cost. Intel's Atom performance continues to underwhelm.
The bottom line: If someone else is footing the bill, HP's expensive ElitePad 900 and its accessory ecosystem cover a lot of bases, but this isn't going to be a consumer crossover product.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Specifications

Don’t expect to edit and render HD video in record time, for example. It’s a little light on storage too – almost 27GB of the 64GB solid-state storage is taken up by Windows itself, which only leaves you about 37GB for your own files. Fortunately, there’s a micro-SD slot that will allow you to add another 32GB storage if you need to.
The Atom processor also relies on the old Intel GMA integrated graphics, which means that your gaming activity will probably be restricted to casual games such as Angry Birds. The tablet gives you up to 8 hours battery life but you can double it to 16 hours when you connect it with the optional keyboard dock.
But, The keyboard has too much flex, and the docking hinge sticks. For only a little more, better products are available.
The bottom line: The IdeaTab Lynx is a perfectly functional Windows 8 hybrid but lacks the lower price of some competitors, or better design and features of others.

And for that we would recommend it. The Asus VivoTab Smart ME400 is as inexpensive as Atom Windows 8 tablets get, and the add-on keyboard/touch-pad combo is excellent. The Asus VivoTab ME400 is our favourite Windows 8 tablet yet – it's not as efficient as an iPad, but you can use it with your existing software and have the best of the Start Screen and traditional desktop modes on the same device.Asus claims the VivoTab Smart’s battery is good for 9.5 hours of use. We found this was right on the money. It ran for 10 hours of continuous video with the backlight set at mid-level.
But, The keyboard doesn't actually attach, which can be a hassle, and the folding magnetic cover takes practice to set up properly.
The bottom line: In a sea of hard-to-distinguish Atom-powered Windows 8 tablets, the Asus VivoTab Smart ME400 stands out a bit thanks to clever accessories.
