Homescreen folders, favorites tray, and resizable widgets help make your tab experience powerful and seamless. It boasts a battery with a capacity of 7,000 mAh, an above average battery capacity for a 10 inch tablet. Battery capacity is the most accurate indicator of actual battery life.  We found that in normal use it would stay charged for days. Even on our homeWi-Fi, it would make a decent job of going to sleep so it was ready for use when we turned it on again.
But,The two-tone grey, large bezel around the screen and oddly designed speakers means the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 isn't going to be winning any beauty contests.At $400, the tablet is overpriced compared with more-powerful competing tablets that offer better features for around the same price. The tablet's dual-core CPU has trouble running large 1080p movies smoothly, and its screen color accuracy isn't as high as on the previous Tab 10.1.
THE BOTTOM LINE The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is the same flagship tablet Samsung released a year ago, but this time around it has the latest version of Android and a lower price tag. Although some tout it as being intuitive, we're not sure that's really its strength.The HP TouchPad uses Palm's unique WebOS interface and delivers Adobe Flash-enabled Web browsing, Beats audio enhancement, and impressive compatibility with third-party calendar, messaging, and e-mail servicesThe screen is one of this tablet's stand out features, though. It's the same size (9.7in) and resolution (1,024 x 768 pixels) as the iPad 2 and is as within a gnat's whisker of being as good quality with great viewing angles, bright colours, and good contrast. .Battery life according to HP is 9 hours for continuous video playback, and in our test (WiFi on, Bluetooth off, video looping) we came close to that: just over eight and a half hours. That puts it slightly ahead of the Motorola Xoom but again behind the Tab and iPad 2.
But, The TouchPad has a thick, smudgy design, offers no rear camera or HD video capture, includes a limited app selection, and its unique cards system of multitasking isn't as fully utilized as it could be.
