Constructed almost entirely of aluminum, the UX32 is solid and durable without being too heavy. You can’t get the chassis to flex no matter how hard you try to twist it and the lid is almost as strong.The Asus Zenbook UX32VD has features usually missing from ultrabooks, including a 1080p display and Nvidia GPU.The speakers, along with the Bang and Olufsen ICEpower technology, offer a sound better than you have a right to expect on a laptop this size. Sure, it's never going to beat the sound from proper desktop speakers or headphones, but it's still pretty good.
But, Whether it's too sensitive or too close to the keyboard is up for debate, but it can make the Zenbook tough to use.The UX32VD is expensive, it's thicker and heavier than most ultrabooks, and it has a less-than-stellar touch pad.The mini VGA port really could have been a Thunderbolt - or at least a mini DisplayPort - connection. Given how far the ultrabook form factor is pushing away from the old style computing connections, VGA feels like a legacy port out of place on such a sleek machine.
The bottom line: The ASUS Zenbook UX32VD combines the best Ultrabook display with Nvidia graphics for extra gaming muscle. With a Core i7 CPU, discrete graphics, and a full HD screen, the Asus Zenbook UX23VD is pretty close to being the ultrabook that has it all, but you'll pay for all those features.

The 13.3-inch screen is multi-touch, so you can browse Windows 8 and play touch games with it. The 500GB hard drive offers plenty of storage space, while the 24GB SSD enables it to boot quickly. The Intel Core i3 processor and 6GB of RAM give enough headroom to run demanding apps and there's a good array of connections, including a USB 3.0 port and Ethernet socket. On paper, the Series 5 Ultra Touch is the complete Windows 8 laptop package. With a slim, sturdy design and a powerful mainstream CPU, the touch-enabled Samsung Series 5 UltraTouch is a great sub-$900 13-inch Windows 8 machine.
But, The Series 5 Ultra Touch feels like it could be a world-class laptop a lot of the time, Good thing it has a touch screen, because the touch pad is a bit jumpy. Performance is slower than that of similar Core i5 laptops.
The bottom line: Samsung's midprice Series 5 UltraTouch looks and feels like a more expensive machine, but keeps it simple by skipping the complex hybrid mechanics of so many new Windows 8 systems.                                                                                                                                                                                        Specifications

That's significantly better than the 11-inch MacBook Air's 7 hours 15 minutes, and a substantial improvement over the 2012 MacBook Air's 5.5 hours.
Since switching to solid state storage off the shelf with the late 2010 update, the MacBook Air has been known for its good battery life. But with the Haswell processors in place, it's absolutely stunning. At last, you can use your notebook all day long on a single charge.
But, Newer features such as touch screens and higher-resolution displays are still missing. The ultrabook competition is catching up, in terms of design.
