The revamped interface features a bevy of customization options and dual-window capabilities. The back of the device is plastic with a rubbery soft-touch texture that's pleasant on the fingertips but picks up marks and greasy smudges a little too easily. The rear is almost featureless save for two stereo speaker grilles, the 5-megapixel camera and the usual selection of logos and CE ratings. The front is, as you'd expect, dominated by a 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen surrounded by a large bezel, making it easy to grip the device without placing your oily fingers on the screen. The tablet comes with a 10.10-inch display with a resolution of 1280 pixels by 800 pixels. The LG G Pad 10.1 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the LG G Pad 10.1 packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 1.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The LG G Pad 10.1 runs Android and is powered by a 8000mAh non removable battery. It measures 260.90 x 165.90 x 8.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 523.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi. Sensors on the tablet include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer. The best thing about the LG G Pad 10.1 is its marathonlike battery life. The 8,000-mAh battery in the G Pad 10.1 lasted 13 hours and 55 minutes while continuously Web surfing over Wi-Fi with the brightness set to 150 nits. That's the longest battery life of any tablet.  
but,The 10.1-inch LCD isn't particularly impressive, and even though it shares the same 1,280-by-800-pixel resolution as the Galaxy Tab 4, it isn't quite on the same level.Screen resolution is pixelated on the 10-inch model, touchscreen response is prone to lag, and performance is sluggish when running large apps and graphics-heavy games.
THE BOTTOM LINE You really can't beat $249 for a tablet this size from a large manufacturer. It's a suitable slate for media playback and casual app use, and works beautifully as a second screen for Android smartphone users.Run-of-the-mill specs paired with sleek, minimalist designs make the LG G Pads attractive budget buys, but there's little to distinguish them from similarly performing slates in the same price range.   Price:$249

Samsung's S Pen stylus feels perfectly at home with this stunning screen, turning the tablet into a sketchpad, a notebook, a virtual scrapbook, and much more beside.The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 sports a proven, sensible design, a bevy of useful features, and fast performance. The S Pen Stylus is a unique addition.The 2014 Note 10.1 has a non-removable 8,220mAh battery. That's significantly larger than the 7,000mAh battery of the last model, but it's needed because of the higher-resolution screen.
To give the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 more of a chance against its competitors, we turned off most of the Samsung extras, such as the eye-monitoring Smart Stay before setting the tablet to play a looped SD-quality video. It lasts for a fairly impressive 12 hours of video playback.
But, Only a limited number of apps make full use of the S Pen and some of the ones that do can be buggy and confusing. Some S Pen features aren't enabled by default and others don't work properly.
The bottom line: The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the best Samsung tablet yet. If you can get over its somewhat high price, it's a sound Android tablet investment.                                                                         Specifications
