Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact vs Acer Iconia W4 vs Toshiba Encore 8:Winner is.............................

Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact                                                                                                               It's a stunningly thin and light, premium Android tablet that gets almost everything right. The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact stuffs a heap of power and a good display into an extremely slim, waterproof body. There's no doubt the Z3 Tablet Compact looks great. It's amazingly slim at just 6.4mm and weighs just 270g, While its ability to act as a screen for a PlayStation 4 can be shaky at times, it's a novel feature not found on other Android tablets. The tablet comes with a 8.00-inch display with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1200 pixels. The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is powered by 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact packs a 8.1-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2.2-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact runs Android 4.4 and is powered by a 4500mAh non removable battery. It measures 123.00 x 213.00 x 6.40 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 280.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC. Touch to connect your Xperia Android™ device with your NFC-enabled SmartWear. Get notifications, control your music and more directly from your SmartWear, while life logging everywhere you go. Battery life when playing video at normal brightness levels is fantastic, making it perfect for making any long-haul flights more bearable.
but,Value isn't top-notch when the second-teir iPad mini is so much cheaper, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 offers extra features at the same price. Sony has filled the interface up with so much pre-loaded software that it looks cluttered before you've even downloaded your first app. Opting for a higher resolution display would help it compete against many of its rivals.
THE BOTTOM LINE The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is an attractive and powerful Android tablet which comes with some neat exclusive features The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's wealth of power, its skinny, waterproof body and decent screen make it a good option to consider if you're after a portable tablet. Although its screen resolution doesn't put it over its competitors, its ability to play games from your PS4 -- although not perfect yet -- gives it a unique selling point.                                                             Price:$499
VS                                                                                                                                                           Acer Iconia W4                                                                                                                                    Acer's Iconia W4 has excellent battery life for an 8-inch Windows tablet; With its brushed aluminium finish, it looks pretty cool too. It doesn't really feel like a business or consumer device, which is probably what Acer was aiming for, with many corporate types bringing their own devices to work these days. The touchscreen responds immediately, and identifies up to 10 fingers at the same time. In our opinion, the resolution of 1280x800 pixels is ideal. Desktop icons are not too tiny, and can be hit quickly with the finger. Inputs are quickly detected, and the accuracy is amazingly high. Inputs are accepted up into the outermost edges. The Iconia W4 is also outfitted with a 5-megapixel (MP) rear camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth,
plenty of ports for a slate, including HDMI, SD card, and USB, as well as a decently large 64GB SSD.
but,If you're looking for a svelte tablet, this probably isn't a good starting place. The Iconia W4 is a relatively heavy, thickset, plastic-clad tablet that's short on anything resembling stylishness. The clunky plastic design does the W4 no favors, and it's thicker and heavier than many other Windows tablets. The screen resolution feels dated compared to a growing number of HD-or-better tablets.
THE BOTTOM LINE The Acer Iconia W4 is a bright, compact 8-inch Windows 8 slate tablet. With a full copy of Microsoft Office Home and Student and almost 10 hours of battery life, it's a viable alternative to carrying an ultraportable laptop to class or meetings. The 8-inch Acer Iconia W4 has a few advantages that help it stand out from a crowd of similar devices, including great battery life and enough ports to support basic productivity. It's also much better -- and less expensive -- than last year's W3 model, so it earns bonus points for that.           Key Features: 8.1-inch 1280 x 800p IPS display; 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor; 16GB or 32GB internal memory; Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 Edition; MicroSD card slot; Bluetooth 4.0
Manufacturer: Acer                                                                                                                             Price:$349
VS                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Toshiba Encore 8                                                                                                                                         The Toshiba Encore 8 runs Windows 8.1, boasts zippy performance, and has a microSD storage expansion slot. The Encore packs an 8-inch, 1280 x 800 display. The colorful tiles and white text on the Windows 8.1 Start screen looked crisp on the slate's screen, and websites such as ESPN.com were bright and easy to read.Toshiba's tablet is also using Intel's new Atom Bay Trail processor with 2GB of LPDDR3 memory making for a tablet that's now much more capable of running the full Windows 8.1 desktop experience.Battery is said to be around seven hours but our Toshiba representative declined to give us a solid figure considering that the tablet is not quite finalised. To take care of picture-taking duties, there's a 2-megapixel front-facing Skype-certified camera and an 8-megapixel main camera with 1080p Full HD shooting abilities to play with.
But, The design is bulkier and heavier than most other small tablets. With no keyboard accessory, desktop mode is a headache to navigate.
The bottom line: The Toshiba Encore 8 offers a lot for its price, but the more appealing Dell Venue 8 Pro is a cheaper and sleeker alternative.                                                                                                 Specifications
